नंदी, शिवाचा विश्वासू सेवक. मंदिराच्या दरवाजावर बसलेला, शांत, अढळ. पण महाराष्ट्राच्या ग्रामीण भागात एक वेगळाच नंदी आहे, जो धावतो. वादळासारखा. शर्यतींमध्ये.

घाट शर्यत, बैलांची ती प्राचीन स्पर्धा, ही केवळ एक खेळ नाही. ती एक परंपरा आहे, एक श्रद्धा आहे, एक जगणं आहे.

A story rooted in the bull-racing tradition of rural Maharashtra, where the sacred and the earthly collide on a mud track, and a son must choose between the world his father built and the one calling him forward.

NANDI is envisioned as a visceral, grounded film, shot in the real locations of Ambegaon Taluka, with the actual participants of Ghat Sharyat.

The visual language draws from the earth itself: ochre dust, deep shadow, the blue hour before the race. A language learnt in Hollywood, spoken in Marathi.
